"Little prince" mixed media project

Hi my dear friends,

I'm with you today sharing a special project I had in mind for quite a while now, but was waiting for THE right moment for it. And this month's challenge over at Mixed media & art blog themed "Fantasy" was just perfect for it. I hope you'll like it :)

And here is where the inspiration came from: Mixed media & Art - October challenge: "Fantasy"

I'm also joining this month's Lindy's gang challenge with these gorgeous colors once again:

I used lots of Magicals for it: (some of them are older editions and are discontinued) Vodoo violet blue, Jazzy jivin purple, Frosted forget-me-not, Edelweiss moss green, Gator gumbo olive, Bayou boogie gold. And I also used some Tibetan poppy teal StarburstAutumn Maple Crimson Starburst for the rose and Bling-y-Blonde Starburst for stars. For the eart I used Bratwurst brown Magical Shaker.

Hope you'll like my "Little Prince" project.

Have fun and see you soon!

Fairy shiny christmas ornaments

Hi my dear crafty friends. Today ends the last - 4th Stage of Mixed media & art joint project Creative art. The theme of the 4th Stage was "Brilliant Decoration" and the challenge for the last stage was to use a piece of Bijouterie not from scrap materials and to use something Shiny in any form.

I had lots of large earing pieces from the days I was still wearing them. So I decided to use them together with a Christmas ornament. I altered a plastic Christmas ornament and I added an altered earings inside. From one ornament I made two using only halfs. I added some Scrapiniec fairies to finish them off. The earing were pink before, so I painted them with black gesso and covered them with black and silver glittered embossing powder. I also added lots of other shiny elements, including snowflakes imitation decoration, some glitter and some shiny microbeads in shape of stars.

And here are my projects for the other Stages:

Stage 1: "The Story of a Butterfly" mixed media canvas

Stage 2: "Awaken in my own time" story in a lightbulb

Stage 3: "Breath of Nature" altered doll

Hope you liked my projects. I enjoyed this yourney so much, they were all great challenges, so thank you all who prepared them for us! <3

Thank you for stopping by and taking some time to leave me some love! I really appreciate it! <3
See you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra

Season's greetings altered lantern with Altenew

Hi my dear friends,

Today I'm on 7 kids challenge blog again with yet another project. I'm slowly slowly starting with my winter projects. I absolutely love this season of the year and each year I'm eagerly waiting to start with snowy projects. So today I made an altered lantern with calm snowy landscape inside, which I created with gorgeous "Winter mini stamp bundle" form Altenew. I've colored the lantern with gorgeous Lindy's gang starburst: TiffanyLou Blue, Sassy Sapphire and Tibetan Poppy Teal. I also used some Finnabair art stones in all sizes, blue micro beads and some Prima flowers.

Hope you'll like my project! :) Enjoy your weekend and see you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra
